This hockey ball began its life in Thailand and eventually ended up in the gutter of Victoria Avenue in Regina, Saskatchewan. This particular ball was made for the brand Score and it is the P30 model — very nice. It’s scuffed up and has writing in faded, blue marker on the top that reads “Com.” Obviously this was a communist’s ball.

On the walk to work yesterday, I found these two cigarettes. As far as found smokes go, these are in fine shape. One has just a bit of water staining.
I take pleasure in the thought that someone might have later searched his pockets for these and came up empty-handed. Instead, that person will enjoy an extra 10-40 minutes of life.
