A couple of weeks after the Saskatchewan Roughriders won the 2007 Grey Cup, I found this flag on the street. It is a reminder of the sea of people that filled that street after the Riders’ win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

This is one of those flags that attaches to a vehicle window. The pole is broken so I’ve been forced to just hold it out the window as I drive. Signalling is hard.

I found this octopus about 20 feet away from the seahorse find of the October 30th posting. It looks like they came from the same source… the ocean.

Very few octopi are made of plastic. This one is and it is also quite rigid. Apparently, some octopuses can detach their own limbs as a defensive measure. This is interesting.

This find reminds me of that song by The Beatles — Glass Onion.
